Description
Background of the Original Work:
>>This bronze sculpture, titled Chapman’s Homer, is a signature piece by the celebrated contemporary New Zealand artist Michael Parekōwhai.
>>It was originally exhibited as part of the 54th Venice Biennale and was subsequently acquired by the Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū in 2013, where it came to serve as a spiritual symbol for the city during its post-earthquake reconstruction period.

Sculpture Details:
>>The sculpture features a life-sized adult bull poised in a stance radiating explosive power. The bull’s musculature is rendered with extreme fullness and tension; its head is lowered, its horns are sharp, and its four limbs rest firmly atop a black grand piano.
Factory Showcase:
>>Presented below is the replica produced by Mily’s artists using the traditional lost-wax casting method. The black finish possesses a rich, natural depth, while the texture of the bull’s muscles, the contours of its legs, and the structural details of the piano are rendered with striking realism.
>>It masterfully captures the raw ruggedness of the bull and the refined artistry of the piano.

>>Of course, besides public spaces, if you wish to adorn your private courtyard or garden with a sculpture that embodies such a positive and hopeful spirit, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you.
