Divine Servant Statue Details:

>>This divine servant statue, also known as the sculpture of Jesus washing the feet of his disciple Peter, is based on an original work by American artist Max Greiner.  It is inspired by the story of “Jesus washing the feet of his disciples before the Last Supper” from John 13:1-17, conveying the core values of humility and service.

>>In the sculpture, Jesus bows his head and lowers his gaze, his long hair naturally falling before him, in a humble and focused posture, gently holding Peter’s feet immersed in a basin.

>>The disciple Peter (seated) is slightly stiff, his hands resting on his legs, his expression showing “surprise and unease” (consistent with Peter’s initial refusal and subsequent obedience in the Bible).

>>The details of the figures, such as the muscle lines of the arms, the folds of the clothing, and the veins on the feet, are all very vivid and lifelike.
